Pre-pancake (🦠) I met this beauty while she was working at my favorite store, HEMA. Amazed by her beauty, I blurted out that I thought she was gorgeous. We started talking and a little later The Beauty Of Hema got a name, Siejen. It was great to photograph her. Ain’t she a beauty?!
Eye Of The Camera
You might recognize Melaina from the previous campaign, when she was in front of the camera. One of Melaina’s goals is to further develop her photography skills. That’s why this time, instead of in front of the camera, she was behind it. The proof speaks for itself that Melaina is already a boss behind the camera. This is just the beginning.
Glam & Glow
I really think make-up is an art form in which you can also find different styles. For this campaign we wanted a simple, Dewey and sunkisssed look. Not only did Deveney make sure it radiated these points, but the make-up look brought everything to life. Deveney also took care of make-up and hair touch-ups throughout the shoot.
I See You, You See Me?!
The roles have reversed, numerous Melaina was photographing me. I remember when I was at a festival and I met a queen who was already following studio queenhood. “Oh, is that you?! Love your work! Show yourself woman”. Her reaction was so genuine 🥹 I often hear that I should show myself more. Thanks to Melaina there is now a beautiful picture of me on the About page. One step at a time. 😋
It was just amazing to create something beautiful with these women, it gave us all that creative boost. On to more projects with amazing people.
